07 Aug, 2025

The Club Inauguration Ceremony for the academic year 2025 was held on 18th July 2025 at our college with great enthusiasm and student participation. The event was graced by Mr. Anand G, Project Plant Leader at GE Vernova, Germany, who served as the Chief Guest. His inspiring address emphasized the importance of extracurricular involvement in shaping future-ready graduates, encouraging students to lead with innovation, responsibility, and passion.

As a premier institution dedicated to holistic student development, the college introduced a total of seven dynamic clubs during the event: Prayer Club, Veeramamunivar Club (வீரமாமுனிவர்), Media Club, NSS (National Service Scheme), Eco Club, Band Club, and Language Club. Each club presented a brief overview of their activities from the previous year and outlined their vision and plan for the upcoming academic year. These student-run clubs play a crucial role in enhancing leadership skills, cultural awareness, environmental responsibility, community engagement, and creative expression among college students.

The Eco Club aims to launch a Green Campus initiative, while the NSS is focused on rural outreach and public health awareness. The Media Club plans to expand student journalism and digital content creation, and the Band Club looks forward to participating in intercollegiate cultural events. The Veeramamunivar Club proudly promotes Tamil heritage, and the Language Club encourages multilingualism and communication skills. With such vibrant initiatives, the Club Inauguration 2025 marked a promising start to a year filled with student-led innovation and impactful engagement. This event reflects our college’s commitment to providing a platform for talent, leadership, and social contribution—essential components of 21st-century higher education.
