Technical Expo 2026

Don Bosco Polytechnic College, Thirukazhukundram, successfully conducted Technical Expo 2026 on 18 and 19 August 2026, as a two-day platform for innovation, technology, creativity and practical learning.

The Expo welcomed students from 18 Government Schools from around Thirukazhukundram and Chengalpattu, with more than 1,600 school students participating in the event. The programme was designed to provide young learners with an opportunity to explore emerging technologies and understand their practical applications beyond the classroom.

The six departments of the college — Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Basic Engineering — showcased more than 160 innovative and practical projects. The exhibits covered a wide range of areas, including construction, surveying, automation, electronics, communication systems, computer applications, electrical technology and sustainable solutions.

The Expo also provided students with a hands-on learning experience, allowing them to observe live project demonstrations, interact with faculty members and students, and gain a better understanding of technical education and emerging technologies.

As part of the programme, a special Career Guidance Session was conducted by the Vazhikatti Team for the visiting school students. The session focused on career opportunities, higher education and future pathways, helping students make informed decisions about their academic and professional goals.

Technical Expo 2026 successfully created a meaningful platform for learning, innovation and interaction, inspiring young minds to explore technology and develop an interest in engineering and technical education.

Don Bosco Polytechnic College sincerely thank the Management, faculty members, students, Vazhikatti Team, organising team and participating schools, for their valuable support and contribution towards the successful conduct of Technical Expo 2026.
