Special Awareness Programme on Women's Safety, Child Protection and Drug Abuse Prevention

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Don Bosco Polytechnic College, Thirukazhukundram organised a Special Awareness Programme on Women's Safety, Child Protection, and Drug Abuse Prevention on 02 July 2026. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about personal safety, social responsibility, and the importance of leading a healthy and disciplined life.

The awareness session was conducted by Mrs. G. Amutha, Sub-Inspector, Singappenkal Athiradipadai, who addressed the students on women's safety, child protection laws, legal rights, cyber safety, and the harmful effects of drug abuse. She encouraged students to uphold moral values, respect human dignity, and actively contribute towards building a safe, drug-free, and socially responsible society. The programme provided valuable insights into protecting oneself and others while inspiring students to become responsible citizens committed to the welfare of the community.
