On 2nd July 2026, Don Bosco Polytechnic College, Thirukazhukundram, successfully conducted its House Investiture Ceremony at St. Zatti’s Block to officially appoint the student leaders for the academic year. The ceremony celebrated leadership, discipline, teamwork, and the spirit of healthy competition among the four student houses -Vertex, Nexus, Novas, and Dynamos.

The event commenced with an impressive March Past by the student contingents representing the four houses, demonstrating remarkable coordination, discipline, and team spirit. This was followed by a spectacular Gymnasium Pyramid Display, where students exhibited their physical fitness, balance, and teamwork through synchronised formations, earning enthusiastic appreciation from the audience.

The newly elected House President and Vice President, along with the student office bearers of the four houses, solemnly took the Oath of Office, pledging to uphold the values of integrity, responsibility, discipline, and dedicated service to the institution. The oath-taking ceremony symbolised their commitment to leading their respective houses with enthusiasm and accountability.

The programme was graced by Mr E. Navakumar, Camp In-charge, District Scout and Art Master, Government Higher Secondary School, Sadras, as the Chief Guest. In his inspiring address, he encouraged the students to develop leadership qualities, cultivate discipline, embrace teamwork, and actively participate in co-curricular activities to become responsible citizens and future leaders.

 The ceremony concluded with great enthusiasm and inspired the student leaders of Vertex, Nexus, Novas, and Dynamos to serve their houses with commitment and contribute to the overall development of the institution.
