Annual Sports Meet 2026

The Annual Sports Meet 2026 of Don Bosco Polytechnic College, Thirukazhukundram, was held on 24 July 2026 at the College Football Ground with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by Mr. B. Vijayaraj, MLA, Thiruporur Constituency, Mr. E. Suresh, Inspector of Police, Thirukkalukundram, and Mr. V. Edwin Louis, Chairman, Chennai Football Association, who inspired students to uphold the values of sportsmanship and leadership.

The programme featured an impressive march past by the four student houses, torch lighting ceremony, and a series of exciting track events. The celebration was further enriched by spectacular Silambam and martial arts performances by the college students, showcasing their talent, discipline, agility, and cultural heritage.

House Novas emerged as the Overall Champions of the Annual Sports Meet 2026, while House Vertex secured the Overall Runners-up title. The winners were honoured with trophies, medals, and certificates during the prize distribution ceremony.

The event concluded on a memorable note, celebrating unity, perseverance, and fair play. The Annual Sports Meet once again reflected Don Bosco Polytechnic College's commitment to promoting holistic student development through sports, physical fitness, and the preservation of traditional martial arts.
