A joyful and memorable celebration was held on 22 September 2026 to mark the 70th Birthday of Rev. Fr. Dr. C. M. Varghese, SDB, Secretary of Don Bosco Polytechnic College, Thirukazhukundram. The celebration was a beautiful expression of gratitude, love and appreciation, bringing together the Don Bosco Polytechnic College community, Don Bosco School of Excellence, Thirukazhukundram, and the hostel community.

The celebration came alive with a series of heartfelt cultural performances. The students of Don Bosco School of Excellence presented vibrant and energetic dance performances, adding colour and enthusiasm to the occasion. Their performances reflected the joy and excitement of the young Don Bosco community in celebrating this special milestone.

The staff of Don Bosco School of Excellence presented a special birthday song for Father, expressing their heartfelt wishes and appreciation through music. Adding another touching moment to the celebration, the hostel students of Don Bosco Polytechnic College performed a special song dedicated to Father. Their performance beautifully expressed their affection, respect and gratitude towards him.

The college staff also presented a special song in honour of the Rector, making the celebration even more personal and memorable. Through their performance, the staff expressed their appreciation for his guidance, leadership and continued support to the Don Bosco community.

The celebration was not merely a birthday gathering but a collective expression of gratitude for a life dedicated to service, education and the formation of young people. Rev. Fr. Dr. C. M.
