Sports Day
On the 16th of August, our college is celebrating its Sports Day with great enthusiasm. The event is graced by Rev. Fr. C.M. Varghese as the Chief Guest. The program begins with the traditional daan of a shawl by Principal Fr. J. John Joseph, with Fr. T. Anandraj overseeing the proceedings.
The event commences with the arrival of the Olympic torch, proudly brought in by the captains and vice-captains of each house and is ceremoniously lit by Principal Fr. J. John Joseph. The welcome address is delivered by CSE student Sriram and EEE student Deepak.
A significant highlight of the day is the launch of our college tech voice magazine, Next Gen Tech 2024 which covers events from the past two months. The magazine is officially released by Chief Guest Rev. Fr. C.M. Varghese. The initial copies are presented to the Principal, Director Fr. T. Anandraj, Ilayakumar Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Muthumannan Head of the Civil Engineering Department and CSE student Kaviya.
The eagerly awaited prize distribution is then announced by Mr. Aravindan and Mr. Madhan Kumar. The final set of awards is presented by our esteemed Chief Guest, Rector Fr. C.M. Varghese, alongside Principal Fr. J. John Joseph, Director Fr. T. Anandraj and the Vice Principal and Dean.
The event concludes with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Vice Principal Mr. Thanigaivel, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of this memorable day, which highlights the spirit of sportsmanship and unity within our college community.
