Following the Pongal celebrations, the Inter-Departmental Cultural Competition began with a graceful opening ceremony. The event was hosted by Mrs. Sheela and Mr. Prakash, who did an excellent job as the masters of ceremony.

The event was graced by the presence of Mr. G. Illayaraja, the Headmaster of Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School, Thirukazhikundram, as the Chief Guest. Mr. L. Raj Kumar, the CEO and Founder of Miracle Fitness Studio, was the Guest of Honor. Rev. Fr. T. Anandraj honored the Guest of Honor with a momento and a traditional shawl, while Rev. Fr. C. M. Varghese honored the Chief Guest with a momento and shawl.

The event began with a welcome address delivered by Rev. Fr. J. John Joseph. The celebrations kicked off with the National Anthem followed by the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the beginning of the event.

The cultural competition saw enthusiastic participation from various departments. After the series of events, the final results were announced by Rev. Fr. C. M. Varghese. EEE Department clinched the 1st place, followed by the Mechanical Department in 2nd place and the ECE Department securing 3rd place.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks, delivered by Mrs. Priya, the event coordinator, and Mr. Henry Vino Vincent.

This cultural event not only celebrated the spirit of Pongal but also fostered a sense of community and competition among the students of Don Bosco Polytechnic College.
