Industrial Visit to VRMX Concrete Pvt Ltd and Training for Mechanical Engineering Students
On 10 August 2024, students from the Civil and Mechanical Engineering departments of Don Bosco Polytechnic College visited VRMX Concrete Pvt Ltd, Siru Cherry, for an industrial visit. Guided by Mr. Somasundaram, they learned about concrete preparation and testing, gaining valuable practical exposure.
The Mechanical Engineering students also underwent specialized training, focusing on PLC control units, process automation software, and material handling techniques, including belt conveyors and air pumps. This training enhanced their understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial automation.
The visit and training provided students with a deeper insight into industry practices, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world applications.
