The inter-school cultural competition “BEST 2024 Thiran Theetum Thiruvizha” was held on July 26, 2024, at Don Bosco Polytechnic College, centered on the theme of talent and creativity. The event drew over 800 enthusiastic participants from various schools, making it a well-planned and enriching experience for all involved. The program began at 11:00 a.m. with an inspiring speech by the Chief Guest, Mr. R. Krishnamoorthy, District Library Officer, who spoke on the importance of reading and visiting public libraries. After lunch, the event resumed at 2:30 p.m. with Mr. M. Babu, MLA of Cheyyur, and Mr. P. Abdul Samad, MLA, as guests of honor, emphasizing the value of self-belief, hard work, and resilience.
Rev. Fr. T. Anandaraj played a dual role, serving as a judge and coordinating the event, ensuring its smooth execution. Rev. Fr. C.M. Varghese gave a speech about the college and the Chief Guest, while Rev. Fr. J. John Joseph thanked all the staff and students for their active participation and involvement in the BEST program.
